With a focus on customer satisfaction and long-term growth, we are now expanding our leadership team by hiring a competent General Manager from Pakistan who will play a pivotal role in managing and scaling our operations.
Position Overview:
As the General Manager, you will serve as the key executive responsible for managing the overall operations, strategic direction, and performance of the company. You will oversee multiple departments, build and lead high-performing teams, and work closely with the leadership in head office to execute business strategies. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, experienced leader with strong business acumen, capable of delivering sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the daily operations of the company, ensuring all departments (Sales, Admin, HR, Procurement, Finance, etc.) function effectively and efficiently.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term goals, strategies, and business plans.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs and performance metrics to assess departmental progress and business health.
- Set and drive business targets while ensuring operational alignment with strategic objectives.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and revenue enhancement.
- Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure financial sustainability.
- Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and standards across the organization.
- Build strong cross-functional teams by hiring, training, and mentoring managers and key staff.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
- Represent the company in high-level meetings, vendor negotiations, and customer interactions.
- Coordinate closely with overseas offices and executive teams to ensure strategic alignment.
- Report regularly to the CEO/Board with business insights, growth updates, and risk analysis.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 8–12 years of experience in a senior managerial or executive leadership role.
- Proven ability to manage multi-department operations and lead organizational transformation.
- Strong understanding of financial management, business development, and strategic planning.
- Excellent leadership, team-building, and people management skills.
- Superior problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Experience working with international teams or companies with multi-country operations.
- Tech-savvy with knowledge of business software such as ERP, CRM, MS Office, etc.
Preferred Attributes:
- Prior experience in industries such as trading, textiles, logistics, or retail.
- Cross-border management experience or familiarity with Gulf/Middle East business culture.
- Strong work ethic, adaptability, and willingness to travel when required.
- Ability to work while ensuring high levels of accountability and output.
