Join Our Team in Jeddah as a DTF Machine Operator!
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced DTF Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of the Direct to Film printing process, be technically proficient with various RIP software, and have strong attention to detail. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the production of high-quality custom prints on garments and other substrates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot DTF printing machines, heat presses, and related equipment.
- Prepare artwork using design and RIP software; ensure proper file setup for film output.
- Monitor printing jobs to ensure color consistency, alignment, and overall print quality.
- Perform daily maintenance and calibration of printers (e.g., head cleaning, ink refilling, firmware updates).
- Ensure precise application of transfers onto garments or fabrics using heat press machines.
- Maintain logs of completed jobs, machine servicing, and inventory of consumables (films, inks, powders).
- Identify and resolve issues such as banding, ink bleeding, or color mismatches promptly.
- Work closely with designers, quality control, and packing departments to ensure seamless workflow.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company quality standards.
Required Experience:
- 2+ years of experience operating DTF printing machines or equivalent digital printing systems.
- Strong understanding of DTF workflow including artwork preparation, film printing, powder application, curing, and transfer process.
- Hands-on experience with RIP software (e.g., Acrorip, CADlink, EKPrintStudio).
- Familiarity with garment types, printing on cotton, polyester, blends, and other substrates.
- Experience managing production deadlines in a high-volume environment.
Technical & Soft Skills:
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or similar design software.
- Ability to analyze and correct color variations or technical printing issues.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Physically fit; able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 kg if required.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic mechanical skills to perform minor repairs and maintenance.
- Knowledge of different ink types, fabric behavior, and curing temperatures.
Preferred (Not Mandatory):
- Experience with other garment printing techniques (DTG, screen printing, sublimation, UV).
- Ability to train junior operators or assistants.
- Knowledge of color management systems and ICC profiling.
- Basic inventory or production management experience.
